Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead and manage the sales team, drive business growth, and achieve sales targets within the assigned area. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve area sales targets.
    • Identify new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  2. Team Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance.
    • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
  3. Market Analysis:

    • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
    • Provide insights to improve products/services and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  4. Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
    • Address client concerns promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  5. Reporting & Analytics:

    • Track sales metrics and generate detailed reports for management.
    • Provide forecasts, budgets, and insights to support decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to travel as required within the area of responsibility.

Preferred Attributes:
