Job Description: Commercial Director - Globacom

Position Summary:
Globacom seeks an experienced Commercial Director to lead and drive its commercial strategy across multiple markets. The role requires a dynamic leader with significant experience in Telecom, Oil & Gas Downstream, Digital Payment Services, or FMCG, capable of fostering growth, enhancing market share, and driving profitability. The position offers an opportunity to work with a leading brand and shape its commercial trajectory.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and execute the commercial strategy, aligned with the company's overall vision and objectives.
    • Drive initiatives that enhance market penetration and customer acquisition.
  2. Revenue Growth:

    • Identify and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
    • Leverage opportunities to diversify and enhance the company's product and service offerings.
  3. Market Expansion:

    • Explore and lead business expansion into new territories and customer segments.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in target regions.
  4. Team Management:

    • Provide leadership to the sales, marketing, and customer experience teams.
    • Foster a high-performance culture and drive accountability for results.
  5. Industry Expertise:

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Implement innovative solutions to address market challenges and improve operational efficiency.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless operations and alignment of objectives.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums.

Candidate Profile

  1. Experience:

    • Minimum of 18 years of experience in top multinational/international brands in Telecom, Oil & Gas Downstream, Digital Payment Services, or FMCG industries.
    • Proven track record of success in senior commercial roles, with a focus on sales, marketing, and market expansion.
  2. Education:

    • MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  3. Key Skills & Attributes:

    • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
    • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
    • High resilience, ethical work standards, and a result-oriented approach.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Age:

    • Preferred age range is 45 to 58 years, but exceptional candidates above 58 will be considered.
