Job description

Opening in Gulf Countries for the position of COMMI 1-having knowledge in ( Chinese, Indian, Continental, Asian, Butchery ) for star rated hotels and fine dine restaurants'.


Roles and Responsibilities

 

  • Assisting in the food preparation process
  • Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes
  • Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
  • Assisting other Chefs
  • Helping with deliveries and restocking
  • Assisting with stock rotation
  • Cleaning stations
  • Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

 

  • Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards
  • Minimum 6 months relevant experience
  • Awareness of manual handling techniques
  • Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety
  • Experience of kitchen equipment
  • Experience of dangerous equipment such as knives
  • Competent level of English spoken and written

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Educational Qualification: A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field may be preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in typing and data entry software (e.g., MS Office, Excel).
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Basic knowledge of databases and spreadsheet management.
  • Experience: Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles is often advantageous.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
