Job Description: IT Manager

Role Overview

The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s information technology infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations, and driving strategic technology planning. The role requires aligning IT initiatives with overall business goals while ensuring cybersecurity, hardware and software maintenance, network management, and effective supervision of IT staff.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities

  1. IT Infrastructure Management:

    • Oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
    • Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of IT systems.

  2. Cybersecurity:

    • Develop and enforce cybersecurity measures to safeguard the organization’s digital assets.
    • Monitor and respond to security incidents promptly.

  3. ERP and SAP Implementation:

    • Lead the implementation and management of SAP/ERP systems to streamline business operations.
    • Provide training and support to staff on ERP systems.

  4. Strategic Planning:

    • Develop and execute strategic IT plans that align with the company's business objectives.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to improve business efficiency.

  5. Team Supervision:

    • Manage and mentor IT staff to ensure a productive and efficient work environment.
    • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and promote professional development.

  6. Troubleshooting and Support:

    • Oversee troubleshooting of IT-related issues to minimize downtime.
    • Provide timely and efficient technical support to all departments.

  7. Compliance and Documentation:

    • Ensure IT operations adhere to regulatory and legal standards.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of IT processes and systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    • Graduation: BE/BTECH in a relevant field.
    • Post-Graduation: ME/MTECH preferred.
    • Special Courses: Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems.

  • Experience:

    • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in IT management roles.

Skills & Competencies

  1. Technical Skills:

    • Hands-on experience with ERP and SAP systems.
    • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity.

  2. Communication Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English.

  3. Behavioral Competencies:

    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
    • Leadership and team management.
