Manage, support, maintain, and upgrade the on-board IT infrastructure of vessels, including laptops/desktops, printers, storage systems, and networking & communications devices in office and on board.
Provide remote IT support and on-board support on vessels when required.
Maintain IT security and provide backup solutions.
Liaise with vendors, email providers, and other IT personnel for problem resolution or procurement.
The IT Manager will be responsible for managing, supporting, maintaining, and upgrading the on-board IT infrastructure of vessels, including providing remote and on-board support, maintaining IT security, and liaising with vendors and other IT personnel. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling IT infrastructure in the shipping industry, along with specific knowledge of IT systems and procedures relevant to the role.
