Job Title: Laboratory Chemist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Chemist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in laboratory techniques such as HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), GC (Gas Chromatography), and other contemporary laboratory methods. The candidate will also be involved in training, quality assurance (QA) setup, and the development of quality control (QC) systems.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Laboratory Analysis: Perform chemical analysis using HPLC, GC, and other laboratory equipment and techniques to ensure the quality of products and materials.
  • QA and QC: Set up and maintain QA processes to ensure adherence to standards, and develop effective QC systems for consistent product quality.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Record and interpret data accurately, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Method Development: Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods to improve the efficiency and accuracy of laboratory tests.
  • Training: Provide training and support to lab technicians and junior staff on the proper use of lab equipment and methodologies.
  • Compliance: Ensure all laboratory activities comply with regulatory and safety standards, and help prepare for audits or inspections.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment and testing methods to maintain uninterrupted lab operations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum [X] years of hands-on experience in a laboratory environment, with a strong focus on HPLC, GC, and other modern analytical techniques.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in HPLC, GC, and other laboratory instruments and methods.
    • Strong understanding of QA/QC systems and their implementation.
    • Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to train and guide junior staff members.
