Job Title: Logistics Customer Service and Operations Supervisor/Specialist (Airfreight & Oceanfreight)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Customer Service Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing customer inquiries, coordinating airfreight and oceanfreight shipments from start to finish, and ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients and internal teams.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and shipment updates.
  • Promptly address customer questions, concerns, and issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Shipment Coordination:

  • Oversee logistics for both airfreight and oceanfreight shipments, including booking, tracking, and documentation management.
  • Collaborate with carriers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure on-time deliveries.

Problem Solving:

  • Identify and resolve issues that arise during the shipping process, proactively communicating with customers about any delays or changes.
  • Use critical thinking to offer effective solutions tailored to customer needs.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with international regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications related to airfreight and oceanfreight shipments.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Assist in developing operational improvements to enhance service delivery.

Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor customer feedback and service metrics, contributing to ongoing process and procedure improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Logistics or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding operations.
  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes, ocean and air documentation, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in freight forwarding software (preferably Cargowise) and Microsoft Office Suite.
