Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing & Procurement:
    • Identify and source reliable suppliers and vendors for industrial project requirements.
    • Conduct market research and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
  • Purchase Order Management:
    • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement of materials as per project needs.
    • Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and manage any discrepancies or delays.
  • Vendor Relationship:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
    • Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts to achieve the best value for the company.
  • Inventory & Stock Management:
    • Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate supply for ongoing projects.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory and procurement activities.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Maintain detailed records and documentation of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  • Cost Control & Budgeting:
    • Track and analyze procurement costs, ensuring adherence to the project budget.
    • Suggest cost-saving measures and alternative sourcing options when necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in procurement/purchase, preferably in an industrial project environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
    • Good understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
    • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
