Overall Description:

We are seeking a skilled Production Executive to oversee and manage food production operations, ensuring high efficiency, quality, and compliance with food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, process optimization, quality control, and team supervision. This role requires a strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, HACCP, GMP, and FSSAI standards, along with experience in lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and safety compliance. The Production Executive will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage inventory, and implement continuous process improvements to maintain high-quality production standards while optimizing operational costs.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management & Planning:

    • Develop and execute daily/weekly production plans to meet demand.
    • Ensure smooth workflow and efficient resource utilization on the factory floor.
    • Monitor raw material availability and production schedules to prevent bottlenecks.

  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:

    • Maintain strict adherence to HACCP, GMP, and FSSAI regulations.
    • Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with product specifications.
    • Implement corrective actions to resolve quality or compliance issues.

  • Process Improvement & Efficiency:

    • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production processes and suggest improvements.
    • Implement lean manufacturing and waste reduction strategies.
    • Optimize machine and labor productivity for cost-effective operations.

  • Team Leadership & Workforce Management:

    • Supervise and train production staff to maintain performance standards.
    • Ensure a safe and disciplined working environment.
    • Address and resolve operational challenges in real-time.

  • Reporting & Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate production reports, logs, and compliance records.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggest improvements.
    • Report any deviations to senior management with corrective actions.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols, compliance standards, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in production management software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Good communication and coordination skills for cross-functional teamwork.

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Food Technology, Science Graduate, or ITI.
  • Experience:
    • 2-5 years of experience working in a factory floor/manufacturing industry.
    • If ITI-qualified: 7-10 years of production line experience required.
