Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control & Assurance:
- Implement and monitor quality assurance processes and standards across all construction activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks, project specifications, and industry standards.
Material Inspection:
- Verify the quality of materials received on-site and ensure adherence to approved samples and specifications.
- Liaise with procurement teams to address any discrepancies in material quality.
Process Monitoring:
- Monitor construction processes to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and timeline requirements.
- Identify non-conformities, suggest corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and present quality reports to project managers and stakeholders.
Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and company standards.
- Assist in audits and certifications related to quality standards.
Team Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to uphold quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide input on quality-related training for site personnel.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in the quality department of real estate or construction firms.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in quality management tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Experience with large-scale residential or commercial real estate projects.
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards related to construction.
Salary Range: ₹30,000 to ₹40,000
