Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and technical designs.
• Perform manual and automated testing across various platforms and environments.
• Identify, document, and track software defects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and re-testing.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure testability of new features and changes.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Conduct performance, regression, smoke, and stress testing on software builds.
• Participate in code and design reviews, providing quality-related feedback.
• Continuously improve testing strategies and processes.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and emerging technologies in software testing.
• Communicate testing results and actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in a similar role as an SQA Engineer.
• Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and test automation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), databases (SQL), and APIs.
• Experience in Mobile Application Testing (Android & iOS).
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger UI).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to guide junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Certifications like ISTQB or equivalent.
