Position Title: Senior Accountant / Accountant Manager
Location: Flushing or near JFK airport (on-site)

Job Responsibilities:
Accounting Processing and Recording:
Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis: 4. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, etc.) in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 5. Conduct in-depth financial analysis and interpret trends in various financial indicators, providing clear reports to assist management in decision-making. 6. Assist internal and external auditors by providing necessary financial information and explanations to ensure smooth audit processes.
Budget Management and Control: 7. Assist in the preparation of the company's annual budget, helping various departments set budget targets and break them down by business units and projects. 8. Monitor and analyze budget implementation, identifying deviations and recommending adjustments to ensure financial goals are met. 9. Assist in cost control and expense management, analyzing expenses to identify opportunities for cost savings and improving economic benefits.
Tax Declaration and Compliance: 10. Handle the company's tax declaration processes, including federal, state, and local taxes, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. 11. Stay updated on changes in US tax policies and adjust the company’s tax strategy to reduce risks and tax burden. 12. Assist in tax audits by providing relevant information and ensuring tax declarations meet tax authority requirements.
Internal Control and Risk Management: 13. Develop and improve the company’s internal control system to ensure compliance and prevent financial risks and fraud. 14. Evaluate and optimize financial processes to improve efficiency and reduce risks. 15. Participate in risk management, identifying and responding to financial risks to ensure stable company development.
Team Collaboration and Communication: 16. Collaborate with departments like sales, procurement, and production, offering financial support and suggestions to align with business processes. 17. Maintain relationships with external partners (suppliers, customers, banks, tax authorities) to handle financial affairs and ensure a positive company image. 18. Guide and train junior financial personnel to enhance team capabilities and work performance.
Requirements:
Educational Background:
Work Experience: 2. More than 5 years of accounting experience. Experience in freight forwarding or international logistics companies is a plus. Familiarity with Cargowise is an advantage.
Skills: 3. Proficient in US GAAP and financial statement preparation, with strong financial analysis and reporting skills. 4. Fluent in English and Chinese, with effective communication capabilities.
