Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Spa Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our luxury spa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, and driving revenue growth through performance-based strategies. This role offers a salary of £30,000 per annum, plus a 20% performance bonus based on achieving KPIs related to customer satisfaction, revenue targets, and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management:

    • Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of therapists, receptionists, and other spa staff.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions to ensure staff deliver high-quality services.
    • Schedule and monitor staff shifts, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours and holidays.
  • Customer Experience:

    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure guests have a seamless and relaxing spa experience.
    • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Spa Operations:

    • Oversee daily spa operations, including appointment scheduling, inventory management, and cleanliness standards.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
    • Monitor and maintain spa equipment, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Sales & Revenue Management:

    • Drive sales through promotions, packages, and upselling of treatments and retail products.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including tracking KPIs such as revenue, profit margins, and customer retention.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional offers and attract new clientele.
  • Budgeting & Reporting:

    • Prepare and manage the spa’s budget, including cost controls, inventory purchases, and staff payroll.
    • Generate weekly/monthly performance reports for senior management, including revenue forecasts and performance against targets.
  • Spa Marketing & Partnerships:

    • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote spa services and increase clientele.
    • Build partnerships with local hotels, fitness centers, and tourism businesses to expand the spa’s reach.

Key Requirements:

  • Education & Certification:

    • Diploma or degree in hospitality, business management, or related field.
    • Professional certification in spa or beauty therapy (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in spa management or a similar role in the wellness or hospitality industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales and performance targets.
  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Strong knowledge of spa services, products, and industry trends.
    • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and revenue targets.
    • Proficient in using spa management software and MS Office applications.
