Job Title: Store Manager

Department: Retail Operations

Detailed Work Profile:
The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring smooth functioning, and driving sales performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and motivating the sales team to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the supply chain to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Implementing store policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyzing sales data to identify trends and implement strategies to improve sales and customer engagement.
  • Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintaining store visual merchandising standards to create an appealing shopping environment.
  • Conducting regular staff training and performance evaluations to ensure high levels of employee performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Preparing and submitting regular reports on store performance to senior management.

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Experience in fashion or lifestyle retail will be preferred.

Salary Budget:

  • 50,000 INR per month

Number of Vacancies: 3 (1 for each location)

Education Profile Specifications:

  • Graduation: Required; preferably in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Post-Graduation: Not mandatory but preferred.
  • Special Course: Diploma or certification in Retail Management or related fields is a plus.

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Languages Known:

  • English (mandatory)
  • Hindi (preferred)
  • Any regional language depending on the location will be an advantage.

Key Competencies (Knowledge, Skills):

  • Knowledge of retail management best practices.
  • Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and retail software.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly.
  • Ability to train and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Understanding of inventory management and stock control.
