Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our kitchen team as Trainee Chefs/Interns. This is a fantastic opportunity for freshers who are passionate about cooking and eager to build a career in the culinary world.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in food production across various cuisines, ensuring high standards of preparation.
  • Contribute to menu construction and assist in planning and developing new dishes.
  • Participate in quality management, maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation, cooking, and plating.

Location: Kallekkad, Palakkad, Kerala

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Salary Range: ₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month

Number of Vacancies: 2

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Education Requirements

  • Graduation: Preferred in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or related fields.
  • Post-Graduation: Not required.
  • Special Course: Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts is a plus.

Personal Attributes

  • Passion for cooking and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards of food quality.

Communication Skills

  • Basic proficiency in English is preferred.
  • Knowledge of local languages (Malayalam) is a plus.

Key Competencies

  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment, utensils, and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the kitchen team.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop culinary skills.

Languages Known

  • Basic English (Preferred)
  • Malayalam (Preferred)
