Primary Responsibilities :
Education and Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical degree or certification preferred.
- Certification in fire alarm systems (e.g., NICET) is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fire alarm system installation, maintenance, and repair.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in fire alarm systems, including analog and digital systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with local fire codes and regulations.
- Understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various environments and lift heavy equipment.
- Willingness to work in confined spaces and at heights.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Other:
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
