Basic Functions and Responsibilities

  1. Provide excellent interpersonal skills and maintain a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
  2. Collect and process cash and credit card payments from customers.
  3. Calculate and provide change quickly and efficiently.
  4. Register sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing, and totaling customers’ purchases.
  5. Bag purchases.
  6. Handle returns and refunds as necessary.
  7. Maintain cash control over the register drawer and verify amounts are correct.
  8. Assist with other tasks as needed, including managing shelves, tracking inventory, and keeping the store clean and tidy.
  9. Be accountable and accurate in reconciling sales receipts.
  10. Open and close retail operations.
  11. Prepare basic opening and closing reports.
  12. Resolve customer issues and disputes.
  13. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  14. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Minimum Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  2. Minimum of 3 months of experience handling money and working as a cashier.
  3. Ability to read and understand instructions.
  4. Excellent verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing, and stressful environment.
  6. Attention to detail.
  7. Familiarity with POS (point of sale) systems and the ability to learn new technologies.
  8. Strong customer service skills.
  9. Quick learner.
  10. Flexible working hours.
  11. Strict compliance with working hours.
  12. Proficiency in English.
  13. Ability to make change accurately.
  14. Basic math skills.
  15. Ability to work independently and as a team player.
