Position: Business Development Manager
Industry: Pharmaceuticals
Qualification: Candidate with pharma background (B. Pharm, M. Pharm. PhD Pharmacologist) shall be preferred, but
B.Pharm is a must, MBA is desirable.
Experience: 7-10 years
Location: Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad
Work timings: 10am-6:30pm
Salary: 13,00,000-18,00,000INR
Responsible:
o Responsible for achieving sales targets for India
o Deliver the sales volume and revenue forecasts along with the annual operating plan and own
responsibility for the forecast accuracy
o Direct and coordinate all operational and business activities to meet customer requirements
and achieve and/or exceed profit plan and strategic planning goals and objectives.
o Formulate & conceptualize Sales strategies that are aligned with Supplier business strategy.
o Represent Singhania & Sons at key industry meetings and conferences to promote Singhania
& Sons products and develop the prospect pipeline.
o Build and maintain executive level customer relationships.
o Drive commercial excellence and Value Selling initiatives.
o Maintain a computerized business lead register and frequently update marketing status in it.
o Prepare monthly sales report and track self-performance.
o Follow up on payments
Experience Requirements:
o Minimum Total 7+ years industry experience
o Commercial experience of sales/ marketing of Pharmaceutical Excipients and Fine Chemicals
and customer facing experience of 5 years is required

o Results-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
o Knowledge of Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical industry trends
o Negotiation Skills
o Proven ability to gain and maintain lasting customer relationships

o Excellent listening and teamwork skills
o Able to work independently with little guidance
o Candidate must Identify and qualify new business leads and approach new customers from the

o Knowledge of US/EU FDA Drug Approval Process (i.e. NDA, ANDA, 505(b)(2), etc.)
o Field Work- Frequently travel to customer site / plant and identify opportunities.
