Job Title: Assistant Manager (Insurance & Claims)

Job Description:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of insurance and claims within the organization.
  • Handle and dispose of Cargo claims efficiently and effectively.
  • Deal with P&I Club and Hull underwriters regarding insurance matters.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve insurance and claims-related issues.
  • Provide support and guidance to the team on insurance and claims matters.
  • Maintain accurate records of all insurance and claims transactions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of insurance and claims policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and developments in insurance and claims management.

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Location: Mumbai
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in handling and disposal of Cargo claims and dealing with allied matters, including P&I Club and Hull underwriters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in handling and disposal of Cargo claims and dealing with allied matters.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
