Responsibilities for Pet Groomer

Clean the pet's teeth
Maintain an upbeat attitude
Calm an anxious pet
Ensure company policies are being followed
Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need
Shampoo and wash a pet's hair or fur
Create a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners
Cut or shave a pet's hair or fur

Qualifications for Pet Groomer

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to work with other groomers
Ability to lift pets that weigh up to 50 pounds
Grooming abilities
Calming presence to sooth pet
Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
Ability to pass a background check
Great communication skills
Ability to work on a team
