Primary Responsibilities :
Education & Experience:
- Proven experience as a commie chef or in a similar role in an Indian kitchen.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Indian cooking techniques and various cuisines (North Indian, South Indian, etc.).
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Indian dishes.
- Ensure that food is prepared according to recipe specifications and presentation standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during meal service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in food cost control.
